operations for digital lender Wonga.com. In 2013, she joined Development Bank of Singapore to help launch `digibank’ – India's
first mobile-only app bank. Her passion for the potential of technology to disrupt the delivery of financial services prompted
Lizzie and her co-founders to start ZestMoney in 2015. She was voted FinTech Female Leader of the year, 2017.
A CFA Charterholder and BSc from Edinburgh University, Lizzie started her career at Goldman Sachs in equity research and asset
management. She then became an investor for The Wellcome Trust, one of the world’s largest endowments, focused on financial
services and Indian investments. She is an Investment Committee member of the early stage fund India Quotient and sits on the
board of IndiaMart - India's leading SME marketplace and classified site.
Charishma Chotalia leads Branch International’s India operations. Branch is a San Francisco based startup and has raised over $100 million from top tier venture firms such as Andreessen Horowitz, Trinity Ventures and Foundation Capital. The company uses the power of data science to reduce the cost of delivering financial services to consumers in emerging markets, and is active in India, Africa, and Latin America. Prior to joining Branch, Charishma led the South Asian expansion efforts for Viamo, a social enterprise. Charishma holds a BA in Psychology from Stanford University and a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University.

Zach Marks is Director of New Markets and India GM at Tala, a mobile technology and data science company expanding access to fair, flexible financial services in emerging markets. Through its mobile app, Tala helps anyone with a smartphone build a financial identity using over 10,000 data points gathered from a customer’s device to create an instant credit score and deliver customized financial services.
Zach has worked across technology, international development, social innovation and management consulting. Prior to joining Tala, he was Co-Founder and COO of Oystir (acquired by DOC), an online marketplace that used data to match people with jobs based on their skills. As a consultant at McKinsey & Co., Zach advised public, private and social sector clients on a range of issues with a focus on international economic development, including an engagement designing South Sudan’s first national agriculture plan. Zach received a B.A. in Ethics Politics and Economics from Yale University. He is writing a book on chai wallahs, India’s roadside tea vendors.
Sashank Rishyasringa is the Co-Founder of Capital Float, a pioneer in the online lending market in India. Capital Float has built a platform that blends technology, decision science, and credit innovation to deliver a unique range of financing products to small businesses, and is the largest digital lender in India today. Prior to Capital Float, Sashank worked at McKinsey & Company, where he advised several large financial institutions, investment funds, and government agencies on strategy and risk.
Sashank studied economics and mathematics at Princeton before completing his M.B.A. at Stanford.
Kunal is the Founder of CRED and FreeCharge. Post FreeCharge's acquisition by Snapdeal in 2015, Kunal served as an advisor to Y-Combinator, Sequoia Capital India, and Times of India. Kunal recently launched CRED – an initiative to celebrate and reward the most creditworthy people of India. He has been an investor in ventures such as GOJEK, Zilingo, Unacademy, Razorpay and many more along with holding the position of Chairman at the Internet and Mobile Association of India in 2016. Kunal is also a voracious reader and is fascinated by the human mind and behavioural economics.
With the mission to simplify payments in India, Upasana co-founded MobiKwik in 2009. Her current focus is to bring a million retailers into the MobiKwik payments network. Upasana comes with a strong background in payments, and has worked as a senior product manager with PayPal in the Silicon Valley and prior to that, with HSBC in San Diego, US.
An engineering graduate from NIT Jalandhar, Upasana also holds a Masters degree in Management Science from Stanford University. She has over 14 years of experience in Payments & Financial Services.
